The Potsdamer Platz

Potsdamer Platz has firmly established itself as a central location for the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS. Since 2010, the creative goal each year has been to make the square a magnet for visitors and to emotionally enhance it as a cosmopolitan experiential space. Each year, the team from Zander & Partner shines a spotlight on both history and the future.

The uniqueness of Potsdamer Platz lies in its numerous “hotspots,” each offering a different accent: from the Kollhoff-Tower, Forum Tower, Haus Huth, Alte Potsdamer Straße, Marlene-Dietrich-Platz to the Piano-See. And of course, the legendary mall “The Playce.” All of these are included in the grand light installation.

For the past 15 years, innovative concepts for staging the area have been developed in proven cooperation with Brookfield Properties and the Potsdamer Platz marketing association.
