“Robert Harting as a light figure on the Upper West”

Generating wide-ranging media attention with exceptional productions is a special area of our creative team. This was also the case for the athletics EM 2018 in Berlin. The task was to generate attention for the start of the European Athletics Championships in Berlin. At the same time, the sports career of Diskus Olympic champion Robert Harting was coming to an end: The eagerly awaited discus throw finals of the European Athletics Championships was held in Berlin’s Olympic Stadium on 8 August. The idea: To honor one of the most successful German athletes of all time, a picture of Robert Harting was projected as an XXL motif on the façade of the Upper West High House directly on Breitscheidplatz on nine evenings.

The campaign was a media success and was repeatedly mentioned and celebrated in the most popular formats on TV, print and online. The news spread rapidly and so crowds of visitors gathered daily in front of the Upper West to adjust to athletics EM.
