For the ZDF New Year’s Eve show “Welcome 2021” on Dec. 31, 2020 live in front of the Brandenburg Gate, the Zander & Partner team was commissioned to create the video mapping on the Brandenburg Gate during the 3-hour show.

For the first time, there was a virtual projected firework display on the capital’s landmark at midnight to welcome the New Year. Spectacular firework images and this very sustainable too!

During the live ZDF show, which lasted several hours and was hosted by Andrea Kiewel and Johannes B. Kerner, the gate shone with the most impressive video mappings of the Festival of Lights to the musical acts.  From abstract color explosions to our famous 3D productions, the facade of the world famous landmark was transformed.
