It was a milestone for the cultural scene: October saw the reopening of the Berlin State Opera and the opera’s 275th anniversary at the same time. To mark this special occasion, the team from Zander & Partner created a 360° staging of Bebelplatz.

“Opera et Luce” united the buildings on this traditional square into a perfectly coordinated overall composition with a 3D video mapping show on the 275-year history of the State Opera.

The start of the FESTIVAL OF LIGHTS was announced by the new director of the State Opera, Matthias Schulz, at the festival press conference.
