Zander & Partner is on an international mission with many projects and a radiant presence around the world. Preferably for our home city of Berlin, of course!
Under one such commission, we realized a special production for Berlin Partner at the EXPO 2020 in Dubai and presented light productions and artistic activities during the official “Berlin Week” around the German Pavilion.

We transformed facades on the impressive exhibition grounds of the legendary EXPO2020 DUBAI into a sea of lights and presented, among other things, the famous “Berlin Bear” in a completely new form to the public from all over the world.

The façade shows enchanted the EXPO visitors and underlined Berlin’s reputation as a creative metropolis. Other fascinating light art performances – such as the light giant “DUNDU”, a long-standing friend and ambassador of Zander & Partner Lichtkunst, was flown in specially and enchanted young and old alike.

The Zander & Partner team also specializes in long-term productions at international world-class events. During EXPO 2020 in Dubai, Zander & Partner was the lead producer of the official EXPO light art program “Kaleidoscope“: 182 EXPO evenings were accentuated with light and art – a unique Night Time Experience.

Another project for Berlin Partner was our involvement in the South by Southwest (SXSW) Conference in Austin, Texas, in March 2024, where Berlin was represented by a delegation from the Berlin digital and start-up scene. The highlight was the “Berlin Takeover”, where the location was designed in Berlin style and staged with projections around the Berlin Bear.
